MERCC: Mobile Emergency Response Command Center
Our Mission
The MERCC (Mobile Emergency Response Command Center) was created with one simple purpose — to serve communities in need when disaster strikes. After witnessing firsthand the challenges of emergency response in North Carolina, we knew more could be done. Instead of waiting until it’s too late, we took action — investing in a 30ft fifth-wheel trailer and a custom 20ft shipping container to create a fully mobile, self-reliant relief unit.
Our Goal
The MERCC is designed to deliver essential services directly to affected communities, filling critical gaps in disaster response. Our mission is to provide:
Clean Water – Safe, drinkable water in crisis situations.
Private Showers – Restoring dignity with clean, private facilities.
Solar Charging Stations – Renewable energy to keep essential devices powered.
Food Distribution – Nutritious meals for families in need.
Fuel – Supporting logistics and relief efforts with dependable access to fuel.
Security – Helping maintain stability and safety in disaster zones.
Throughout the year, this connex will store emergency supplies and stand ready as a mobile command center, deployable wherever it’s needed most.
How You Can Help
Building and equipping the MERCC is a community effort. If you’d like to support this mission, you can:
Donate – Scan the QR code on the container to contribute. Every dollar goes toward building out and stocking the MERCC with life-saving supplies.
Volunteer Your Skills – If you’re experienced in electrical, plumbing, or construction and would like to donate time or labor, we’d love your help.
